I have only used this a few times but I started with a chili and recently made a chicken saltimboca with a Marsala sauce. The oven worked and looks great. I have converted my entire inventory of pots and pans to cast iron and this is a great addition for larger meals.

I’m am a cast iron fan! I have classic pieces from Griswold and Wagner (that I very much love) that are a century old, but my favorite is Field! The interiors are so much smoother, that the necessary season process , is much shorter!!! Not sure why other manufacturers don’t have a clue!

I like the shape of this dutch oven and the weight is so much more manageable than my old Lodge ones. The hsape and weight doesn't matter when we are cooking, it matters a lot when cleaning, though!!! So much easier to manage. Its pretty, too!

Love it, it does what Dutch Ovens do with all the style and smoothness I love about Field!

Everything about this dutch oven has been designed perfectly. It has that vintage feel with a twist of Fields own touch. Well Done Field...Well Done...
