Use the Cast Iron Lid's self-basting ridges to maximize your skillet's capabilities: learn how to braise, steam, and melt with a Field lid, starting with braised chicken thighs.
Field Skillets draw inspiration from the lighter, smoother skillets of America’s cast iron manufacturing heyday. For our first lid, we put our spin on a cast iron innovation.

Just used my skillet this morning with my homemade Tallow and fried eggs. It is a pleasure to use this skillet, I am somewhat new to using cast iron, but when I follow the instructions - high heat is where I used to go wrong...success at low heat up, giving it that minute or two makes the difference. After use applying the oil from you, is a perfect end to a perfect meal.
Thank you so much

I have looked at Field products for a while and I finally decided to take the next step. It is a decision so worth it. Love the skillet and you will too! There are less expensive cast iron products for sure, but a Field cast iron skillet is a once in a lifetime purchase…that is unless you need more Field products! You will not be disappointed!

Now I'm using this skillet for everything and on a daily basis. It's easy to clean and care for. Just as advertised, this was a smart purchase.

I love this pan. I have had several cast iron & they are of the cheap variety. This has been smooth & non stick from the first fry. I cook everything on it & I love it more due to having an Induction stove I dont feel like I’m heaving a very heavy pan .
