    First Time Cast Iron User!

I’m really enjoying the experience of cooking with cast-iron. Cornbread is amazing in my number 8 skillet, eggs just slip right out, and one of my other favorites is the pan seared mushrooms with butter and thyme recipe on the website..

    New favorite kitchen tool

Took a little to get used to the cooking and care - but well worth the effort. Love how the pan is lighter and smoother than traditional cast iron. I actually really enjoy cleaning and oiling it after use. You can literally see it seasoning each time - excited to have something so beautiful, useful and timeless in my kitchen for many years to come!

    skillet lids are rare

I bought this because you just never seem to run across vintage cast iron skillets that come with a matching lid. Lids can come in handy and glass lids on cast iron worry me. Might go wrong . I have a positive opinion of the quality of the lid as well as the skillet.
